450 arrived today!!
I'll get some nice pics over the next few days, I only had time to drive it home from the dealer, park it, and go out for our 7 year anniversary. I.LOVE.IT.
I was very scared about the brown interior because a lot of online pics make it looks orange. It's not at all, and is exactly what I had hoped for. So, only drove it for an hour, but will give feedback and post better pics over time.

So far, I'm loving it. The multi contour seats w/message are awesome. The massage part is okay, but adjusting the side bolsters to fit me like a glove made it worth it. The car is really fun to drive in sport+, with the burps and growls, it's just a little extra cool factor. Fit and finish isn't top notch, the brown leather w/ brown stitching in the dash looks great, and I'm happy with the open pore wood.
If you have any specific questions, let me know.

Have had cars with multi/massage and I always think it's a pretty weak feature personally.
We have owned E63 wagon and ML 63 in the past as our "utility vehicle." I feel like we don't need all the power from the real AMG models at this point for our utility vehicle so I was thinking perhaps the 450 could be a good compromise. Do you have any experience w ML 63 or ML 550 to make comparisons? Have you driven the GLE 63 coupe? Thanks.

I don't have any experience with any other amg models. I'm coming from a 470hp Jaguar XF supercharged model, which I felt like I didn't need all that power (got me in trouble). I feel this isn't anywhere near that, but definitely fun, sporty, comfortable and a great comprimise. I wanted something that was extremely comfortable for most of the time (with family) but could be sporty when I need/want it to be. I have no regrets right now.

Ginger Beige and Black. We had the Beige on beige in our 2014 ML and the carpeting showed everything. The black carpet should be a a real plus. I also have the black MB Weathertech slush mats coming Monday. I live in SC and have no real need for them but I like how they protect the carpet.

2019 AMG GLE 63S
Interesting looking vehicle. I saw it first at the auto show last year and will note that it is much larger standing next to it than it looks in pictures.
One of you has running boards and one does not. As someone that just removed them and added AMG rocker panels painted I'll be curious what the prevailing opinion is. Step over? Use the running board?

I don't mind the look of the running boards but on our 2014 ML they always seemed to get in the way mainly because we always step over them and didn't actually use them.

I am so jealous of you all! I tend to think of the GLE 450 AMG Coupe as a heavyweight's 18 oz. boxing glove with the engine being the iron fist inside Enjoy! I got to stop looking at this board now LOL Some day!

[QUOTE=Donk450;6585017]Here's some shots!!
Couple of comments from me again (!):
1. Looks fantastic in white over brown.
2. The matte wood is really nice.
3. Did you add the puddle lamp logo?
4. I'm sure you're going to be tired of those wheels, so I'll do you a favor and give you my AMG 5 spokes even up. Right. Those may be the best wheels I've seen on this platform yet.
