13' ML350 buying advice

So for my next SUV, it comes down to the 2013+ Lexus RX350 and 2013 ML350 for me. Can you guys tell me the pros and cons owning experience of your 2013 ML350. Thanks a bunch!

I have had both cars and it simply comes down to the fact that Mercedes' build quality is higher. The lexus, is, after all, a Toyota, and after driving it for about a year, you can really tell. They are nice cars, but in the long run, it is a Toyota at heart. The interior in mine got loose after a while, and every time I would go over a bump, the interior panels would rattle and squeak. Some of the parts even say Toyota on them. I have a hard time differentiating the Lexus sedans from a Toyota camry. The nav systems are exactly the same as the Toyota equivalents. It's like they don't even try.

With the Benz, the build quality and materials are nicer, I like the design a lot more, it drives much nicer, and is all around a better car. My only criticism is that every feature is an add on, which really drives up the price, as well as pricey services down the road.

I drove both cars today and I really like the way the ML drives much better than the RX. I couldn't pull the trigger because I need to do more research on here regarding the reliability of the ML. hehe

If you want something that you won't pull your hair out after 4-6 years go with the lexus but if you want a more solid feel driving experience and way better looking car go with the ML. In General all german cars will have a more solid feel compared to japanese brand cars. German cars are also expensive to maintain.

If you have the funds to buy and maintain one even past the warranty go with the german car if not just lease a new one and see how it goes.
