Winter event for GLE

I'm currently in the market for possibly a new GLE400. The dealer wrote me an email saying the "winter event" is going and I can get a good deal.

I've never had a Mercedes before so what exactly is the "winter event"? Is it dealer cash, a larger discount, or a favorable lease rate or financing rate?

A gaggle of MB's
Just so you know - availability on the GLE400 overall is quite "tight" - with strong demand against limited availability.

Iff you are considering moving forward before Christmass - for the right colors/interior/features I would suggest you start research shopping now so that you can find out of the GLE400 is the right fit for you - and so that you can secure the righ GLE400 you want.

Incentives on high-demand/tight-availability models is relatively slim - nature of the best - but the reason GLE400 are tight - is they're grrr8t..

Any idea when the cutoff date is for ordering?

Looking at dealer inventories for a GLE400, i noticed that there wasn't as many as the GLE350s, but I assumed this was due to the 350 being a more popular price point, and not that the supply was limited in any way.

I have an idea on colors, but obviously the dealers don't have the exact combos I want, and many have more options than I think I want. I still have more research to do on the options.

What do you think about the performance of the GLE400 in terms of handling and acceleration? I know you said they're "grrr8t".

So if you order the car now and wait 3 months to get it, will you be able to lock in the price and the current incentives?

All incentives - including Fleet Discounts - are announced/set at the beginning of the month for vehciles delivered that month.

That said - the most common delivery scenario is one of two frameworks at time of order - to be clearly understood/written at time of order : "dealer discounted price + agree to add available/qualified incentives month of delivery"- or "agreed price including all available/qualified incentives for month of delivery".

Keep the beat !

Which framework would you use

Fab

Which of the two frameworks for ordering would you use. I'm likely ordering on Saturday.

I know I will qualify for their Fleet pricing.

thanks and regards

How could that be the case? I don't think you would qualify for fleet for the first place unless you work for one of the companies on the MB fleet list.

Another question for the esteemed Mr. Fab in the same vein...

I'm in the market for a lease on a GLE300d. I have top tier credit. The money factor on my just ended lease of a 2013 GL350 delivered in Nov 2012 was 0.00160. I'm told that the current "Winter Event" lease rates for the GLE apply only to the GLE350. When ordered, I was promised "Best money factor without markup at the time of delivery."

What money factor should I expect for delivery this month?

Thanks.
