20" swap, TPMS question for Canadian ML....
Bought a 2013 ML350 in Feburary. It had the OEM 19" wheels on it. I purchased a set of OEM 20" AMG wheels for it with new tires and I'm wondering about TPMS...
I've heard that all MB cars here in Canada do not have TPMS which doesn't sounds right to me. Is this true?
Since I'll leave my winter tires on the 19s, I guess the question is: will I need to buy 4 TPMS sensors for my 20" summer kit?

W204 C63 Coupe, W166 ML350 BlueTEC, 928GT, C5 Z06 & IS300 race cars, EQE 4Matic+ on order
In Canada the ML63 has discrete TPMS sensors, but the rest of the W166 ML line AFAIK uses the ABS sensors for the TPMS functionality. The easiest way to find out is to select the tire pressure information menu in the car - if you can see INDIVIDUAL tire pressures in PSI for each wheel, then you need discrete TPMS sensors and furthermore need to call a dealership with your VIN so they can give you the exact part numbers. If it only says that the system is operational and gives you the option to (re)set the current tire pressures as normal, then you don't need anything else.

2014 ML 350 bluetec
the ML blutecs do not have the TPMS here in canada.
I have a 2014 ML with the 20" sports OEM wheel, i took those off after 2 months, and I swapped to a 22" wheel (no TPMS)
and for winter I have 19" Replica OEM... no TPMS
no issues at all
