2015 ML350
impact sensor location

I have a 2015 ML350 that I bought as a salvage vehicle. It's all back together and registered but my pre safe light is still on. When i put the front end back together the right front sensor was in an obvious place but when I got to the driver's side I couldn't find a place to mount the sensor. It attaches to a lead shared with the hood latch switch. The lead is only about six inches long but I can't find anywhere in that area to mount the sensor to. Any help?
Thanks, Den

The vin for my 2015 ML350 4 matic is 4JGDA5HB4FA555212. I've checked everything visually, used a good scanner to find and fix any faults and spent hours on the web but still can't find the location.

Regret unable to determine what you are calling an impact sensor systems association---I have checked anti theft,PRE SAFE,ESP and air bags and unable to find what you are calling an impact sensor!!

Are you talking about acceleration sensors? I have posted a screen capture of EPC.
