Late Model ML350/E350 Engine swap

I just purchased a 15 ML350 with a bad motor for the wife, looking to replace the bad engine. Does anyone know if the motor from an E350 is a direct swap? They look to be the same. Thanks

Your ML has a 276.955 engine ser no 30 825455: your ML has a 722.906 transmission ser no 10 381702

Without a VIN I looked at a W212 E350. It's engine has a 272.980 and a 722.906 transmission(this is all HS without a VIN)

My advice do not use anything other that the 276.955(or short block from) else you will have all sorts of engine and transmission control issues bla bla that you will have spent all sorts of bucks that would all be wasted---first,you will never start the car.

Ask the wife to get a second job and go the job correctly!!
