Question Please help to identify this problem. some wet spots.

Hello All,
I like to check an engine every few thousands for something not normal, and today I found some wet spots, please take a look at the attached photos.

any idea how bad this can be?
car is ML350BT 46K, I understand it's under warranty, but if it's a big problem not sure if I can rely on it.
thank you in advance.

Taking it to a dealer on Monday, but would like to understand the problem first.

Based on the photos, I am not even convinced that there is a problem. It could be from driving in the rain, driving through a puddle, condensation from the A/C or dew forming on the engine overnight. The pics are not indicative of a problem.

Based on the proximity to the hoses and fittings, and the appearance of built up residue in a couple of the photos, I'd guess there was some slight weeping of fluid from the hose fitting or crimp in the hose. Looks minor, but certainly something they would have no problem in repairing under warranty.

I was thinking the same thing, wash it and keep an eye on it, but would like a dealer to see it first, have an appointment for tomorrow.

Thank you, hope it's not a big issue, like to keep this car for a long time, very nice ride.
