2014 ML550 Dashboard Graphic
Hi there - So I've looked through the manual and was not able to find anything on the car graphic on the dash board. It's the front half of the car with infographics but I have no idea what it means or if I can control anything from it. Sometimes on the highway the sidelines turn green. When I turn off the car a coffee cup appears with the word "off". Sometimes when turning the car on there is a pic with two cars tail ends facing each other with the word "off". Can anyone point me in the direction of where to learn about this screen display? If I missed it in the manual my apologies.
Thanks,
M

Try the manual... the whole thing is on the COMAND hard drive.
The graphic is pretty useless. While it does show lane departure warnings and vehicle proximity (if you have adaptive cruise it will show the distance to the car in front), it is useless in that it doesn't convey any information that you wouldn't otherwise get in a much more preferred format... like your own eyes and other more tactile feedback like the steering wheel vibration when the lane assist kicks in for example.

Check the manual and/or google for lane keeping assist and collision prevention assist. You can turn them on and off and read about the details for how the systems operate.
