Does anyone know what the Latest Version Map Update was and when the next one is due out?

No it is not free, nor is it included as part of the extended warranty. I was told, by the dealership, it is an optional purchase, just like any other accessory...

No. It kooks and acts like the previous versions except with some (but not all new roads). 3 free updates were included with MY 2015 and newer MLs. Older vehicles have to pay for them. MY 2016 MLs got 5 years or so free MBrace. I have to pay for mine after 6 month demo.

Things change year by year...
