CK-4 oil for OM642
Advisors and peers, any opinions on the upcoming CK-4 oils for our Bluetec's?
Our OM642 are victims of a number of a number of issues (hopefully dealt with) that the CK-4 products targets a cure for.
I am reluctant to await advice from MB as I do believe AFE trumps long term reliability at the corporate level.
I am not intent on bashing MB here, in fact a number of our collective complaints should not really be directed at MB, but at Bosch (AdBlue reliability as an example).
I would also like to know if anyone has investigated stripping down a OM642, no egr, no AdBlue, no DFP? I know that in a lot of locations this is prohibited by law but not where I am.
