Will someone please help a girl out????

Mold is growing in my W204 lamp due to a missing cap . Since my car is in the shop for some body work to the front they were able to remove my headlamp and give it to me (at my request) to clean it.

Is it ok to swish a hot water/bleach mix in the headlamp to clean out the mold (and let it air dry)?

Please advise.

i dont know about bleach, because it can stain sometimes, a quick rub with alcohol then a wash with water should work. just be careful around car paint
