I've been watching and reading for a while and used one of the tips a few weeks ago and it saved me $900.
that's when I decided to become a real member. I bought a 2006 S430 formatic a few years ago. Before I bought one I found an independant guy to service it and he has done a great job. The few times I have had to go to dealer for service they tried to rip me off. I don't like taking my car to the dealer, the price doesn't bother me so much a all the stuff they say the car needs. It is a used car.I bought my car on a Saturday and on Monday while I was at work we got 12" of snow, it was so deep my car got stuck pushing snow (I didndt know about raising the car) in the parking lot. Not being familiar with the car I took the least hilly route home (that took several extra miles) so I wouldn't get stuck. Later in the week when I started to get around I never got stuck or even slid around. I have been continually impressed with the car ever since.
