hey all, New owner here, something like my 26-27th car I've owned. Just traded my third Miata for it.

Anyways, the car is a 1993 W124, 300E, 3.2L, Automatic. It has some minor issues, but is an OK/TX car, so is super clean.

Things I'll end up addressing:

-Passenger windows are temperamental (regulators/motors)
-Sunroof only pops up, doesn't slide back. (again, I think its the motor)
-Rear Headrests don't release with the switch on the dash (NFC)
-Valve cover gasket leaking slightly
-Has either a vacuum leak or IACV issue (maybe EGR?). Runs fantastically off idle, but has a cyclical idle and idles low/rough. I'ts been too bloody cold/Snowy to mess with it.

My plans for it are simple. Fix it back to original quality, then mess with it a little.
- little bit more of an aggressive stance
- some AMG aero bits
- Exhaust
- 5 speed swap

See, my wife has a bun in the oven, and I've always been the type to have my cake and eat it too. The miata was my "second car/daily fun car" but you can't fit a baby seat in the back seat.. I have a Subaru Baja I daily, an 85 corvette that's currently in pieces and now the Merc.

What will probably end up happening is I'll get the car to the point where I'm happy with it, then I'll be bored with it and build a turbo set up for it.

I like doing different things.

Also, I'm currently on the hunt for that dogleg trim piece on the passenger side rear.. turns out its harder to track down than I anticipated. Maybe I just don't know what its called?
