Blue Spots on the hood of a black 2015 C400 Sport

Hi, I have a Black 2015 C400 Sport with only 3k miles and have noticed blue spots on the hood of my vehicle. This vehicle is parked in a open private lot. Does anyone know what these spots on the hood can be? I have more than one and they differ in size. The one in the attached photo is about the size of a penny.

I get that at times. We have "hard water" here in Florida and when the sun bakes it in it causes that blemish. I wax them right off.

Could be water stains, or bird poo stains. Polish should help remove it. Put some good wax or a sealant on the paint, that will help lessen the issue.

+1 for going over it with a decent clay and lube, then go over it with a very light colour restoring polish (something like Meguiars Clearcoat Safe Polishing Compound), if any trace remains.

Both approaches will require an application of Polish (Wax) and Sealiant.

Looks like you have a lot of swirl marks too. I'd take a day on the car to wash then clay bar then using a DA Polisher give the car a good polishing. Know that polishing is different than waxing. If the spots don't disappear then you may need to go up to a rubbing compound. Then go back to a round of polishing then sealant then wax. that ot to do it. Your paint will shine like you didn't know it could. especially with it being black paint
Let us know how it turns out. Good luck.

Thanks everyone! I was concerned that this was a factory defect in the paint. I'll keep everyone posted.
