Been driving for 40 years, finally got a Mercedes after spending the last 10 with VW appreciating German ergonomics.
Bought a 2014 C300 Sport with 10k miles. So far so good, although like almost every car, it's over-engineered. Changing the radio station doesn't have to be this complicated!
Otherwise, great ride, solid feel, superb handling.
Welcome to MBWorld! I do see your point about a lot of newer cars do sometimes overcomplicate things while trying to pack features in limited real estate, along with all those driver nanny features. Often it's nice to just turn everything off and enjoy driving for the sake of driving without all the fluff.
