Just joined the MB World with my 2003 W220 S500
Hi everybody!
I've been a BMW guy for a while, but I recently decided to try going to the dark side, so I bought myself a lovely 2003 S500 with 93k miles on it. The paint is nearly perfect, the interior is super clean, and it's surprisingly powerful for such a big and heavy car.
I checked it out and committed to buying it last weekend, and I picked it up earlier today after work. It was a pretty hectic week at work, so driving home in this S500 was a real treat, what a great way to end this work week.
I really can't find much wrong with this car, other than some insignificant cosmetic stuff that can be fixed easily and cheaply.
My previous cars have been a 2003 BMW 540i/6 M-Sport, and a 1995 750il. I still have the 750il and it was my daily driver prior to buying this S500. I rebuilt three BMW V8 engines last year, so I'd say I'm mechanically savvy enough to handle anything that the S500 might throw at me.

Welcome to MBWorld. She looks to be in excellent condition as you say. Really can't get better than a flagship S class for daily driver and is a worthy successor to your outgoing 750. We had a E66 and honestly regretted picking her up after getting a ride in a buddy's w220. S class just has a better fit to finish refined luxury.

Welcome to the forum! Great to have another MB owner here, you have a beautiful ride. Do you have any particular mods in mind yet? A lot of good info here regarding mods in case you are thinking of doing any. Check out some of the garages and you may get some ideas.
