2007 S550 Back up Camera ready

Hey guys i just upgraded to a 2007 S550 p2 package.Now when i put car in reverse the Navi tell me check my surroundings as if its a back up camera..I want to know can i Add a oem camera or does everyone 550 do this?If someone can help me i will really appreciate it.

Out of curiosity I checked the '07 owner's manual and there's a setting in Comand that one must make to cause the backup camera to come when in Reverse.The same setting is required with my Bluetec.With P2 I'd wager that yours has the camera.Check the manual and if it doesn't work then the camera's probably malfunctioning.

O ok because i ran the vin check and it didnt show up as having a back up camera but i will most def look into it thank you for looking also!

can someone without the back up camera tell me how your navigation screen looks while car is in reverse?

it doesnt change if you dont have backup cam

thats weird the car is being shipped from the west coast to east as soon as it arrives ill look into it thanks alot guys!
