I would say that for those who can't tell the difference between the S Coupe and a CLA or Renault, they should save a lot of money and buy those cars.

Just because the tail lights are similar, just like many other cars, there is actually no resemblance to the S-Class coupe.
Every time a new car comes out, people seem to bring out a pice from another car that at one angle seems similar. Reminds me of people saying that the new Mustang looks just like a BMW...
I'm only human of course i am going to compare it to something. I went to the car show and was shocked that both rears resembled each other. Other than that they are obviously two different cars in different leagues.

I've found that it is very difficult to share your (potentially perceived as negative) observations in forums where the users are "passionate" about the product. There unfaltering allegiance to the brand often leaves them with myopic absolutes. The fallout generally stems from insecurities and should not taken with offense.

Not everyone here is so sensitive, my car was called a Boxster many times before and I didn't care....

Thanks for pics. They look excellent. My car is at the dealership - I have not seen it so for me pics are good until delivery.
Hope to take delivery on Monday. I'm kind of disappointed that car came in Friday morning and the dealership couldn't install the radar on Friday or Saturday. Sometimes I feel they like to keep the car over the weekend so that they can show it off. It was the same for my S63 sedan - came on Friday but was not ready until Monday.

Oh my god...so I went to pick my CLS from the dealership today and brand new S63 coupe in some off white color was there being delivered. Talk about drooling

I had one on order for matte white, but I'm glad this one popped up locally. I would have liked to get the black piano trim instead of walnut, but it's pretty awesome as is. And the seats are the most comfortable I have ever sat in, they did a pretty perfect job on this car.
