Question Issue with wheel/tire size

Gents!
I've been trying to decide on wheels for my car: and have a small concern.

The wheels I'm getting will be 9's all the way around: the owners manual does not show the S to have the same size wheels and tires( all staggered).
And I am wondering if this will be okay.

The tire size would be 265/35/20 on all 4 corners: and not staggered like the stock set-up...my car is 4 matic too,

Any help or comments may be helpful, many thanx!

You'll be fine. One of the best explanations I've heard is that the Manufacturers lawyers prefer that cars understeer, rather than oversteer or have neutral steering. Hence narrower tires up front. Plus - let's face it - the staggered setup looks pretty good too.

If you run a square setup on your MB, your steering will be nearly neutral. Good for drivers, bad according to the lawyers, because it's easier to spin out or swap ends. The square set up will work fine with your 4MATIC.

Enjoy !

I had concerns about a 265 out front, but it seems it'll be fine

It worked out really well.
I still have the wheels, HRE, (and tires) from that set up if you want them....tires have probably dry rotted and one of the wheels needs to be refurbished but they're still high quality HRE wheels

Thanx for the thread bump
