I like the wheels shown in the video for some reason and I'm not sure why.

I am madly in love with the 20" "Maybach Exclusive" wheels. That said, I don't understand MB. You would think that they would go overboard trying to make this car ride as smoothly & quietly as any MB ever made, but then they don't even offer 18" wheels. Those 20's, with RFT cannot be giving that car a smooth, quiet ride like a Rolls, especially over anything other than a ribbon smooth road. All that said, I want one!

We agree again Or get those wheels for you 550, not in a run RFT. Might be love all over again.

In 1978, I had a new BMW 750il that came with a similar looking wheel. Those were my all time favorite wheels, until I saw these on the Maybach! Maybe a set will show up on Craigslist. Yeah, right.

Here's a hypothetical: if a set were available (and assuming all the other necessary information -- good price, pristine condition, location, etc.), would you seriously consider putting them on your S550?

In order not to defeat the question, you cannot change that they are 20" and assume that they will ride a bit harsher than your current setup.

That's a tough one. In my case, probably not. The fact of the matter is that I'm not in love with the exterior of the 222 as it is. The wheels would look great, but in the end, I would probably stick with the 18's and the cushier ride. I guess the best of all worlds would be to mount Serenity Plus tires on the 20's and try them out, but that's never going to happen without a ton of trouble & expense, so I'll just stick with what I have.

I respect that. You've always stressed the comfort aspect and this is true to form. But I also respect that recognize beautiful design (in the wheel), even if you're not thrilled by the rest of the 222. All valid points.
