Burping Sound from A/C

Hi...

I've had my car for a few months now and I've been experiencing this strange sound coming from the front dash/steering column area. When the car is stopped and the start-stop system is activated, about 5-10 seconds after there is this burp noise that happens. It almost sounds like the car is regurgitation something.

I brought it to my dealer and the tech says it had something to do with the A/C coolant valve opening and closing and that its a normal noise. He said he tested 2 other new S Class vehicles and they both did it. While this may be the case, the noise is pretty bad and passengers in the car ask me if I farted or something.

Has anyone else experienced such noises?

I don't think this a normal noise at all. I never heard any such noise in my car.

I would never take their word for this. I would ask to hear these two other cars.

Have them check it again and make its not from the brake booster assembly when the brake is applied at a stop.. Deactivate Eco start/stop and check if it happens again...
