The articles have mentioned this as the sixth version of the S-class line. What are the other 5? I guess SWB and LWB sedan are two, and coupe is a third. Maybach S600 is the fourth. Is the fifth the Maybach S600 Pullman?

If you have to ask, it'll be expensive. LOL. But based on the S550 Coupe pricing with equivalent options (exclusive nappa, premium pkg, sports pkg, warmth pkg, driver assist, piano black trim, night view) at $144K, I'm guessing around $164.
Minus the euro delivery discount.

If it's ~$165ish that wouldn't be bad at all esp comp'd to a Bentley.

I sat in a Bentley Speed GT Convertible yesterday. No doubt it has a beautiful interior, with especially delightful switchgear, knurled aluminum knobs, and nice leather stitching. But I can't say it's nicer than my SL550. Even the Bentley sales rep said my SL was the finest convertible in the world, which I thought a bit odd but totally agree, at least until my S Cab gets here!
I'm so dang worried about it being a soft top though. But MB have been making soft tops for so long now, I guess I shouldn't be.

JB- I've got the E550 Cab soft top. Its brilliant. Quiet, very well insulated from cold or hot and I would imagine saves some weight over the retractable hard top. I would doubt the hard top offers much over the soft top in relation to safety. All those hinges and and separate parts really aren't going to do much in the event of a roll over. Also, the soft top makes actual trunk space available even with the top down. Can't help but think how the soft top just looks better too.

By that I mean safety, including high-speed top-down roll-over accidents and practicality, such as managing air flow in the cabin, top down at high speeds and keeping the temperature manageable. Plus the hard top is brilliant, turning a convertible to a coupe.
We just spent some time in Germany and the Cote D'Azur with an SL and even at 160mph top down it was easy to carry on a conversation and the wind/temp. in the cabin was well controlled.
