The reason it is non CPO, is because it's at a Bentley dealer, not an MB dealer.
Just WHAT do you do with an S63? Blast down freeway on ramps? How often can you EVER, legally, enjoy all that power? Are you going to take it to a track? Leave the S63 at the Bentley dealer and go buy a nice CPO S550 from an MB dealer. A stock S550 is so frigging fast, I just can't imagine why anyone would want an AMG car.

Love your car! That's pretty much exactly what I'm looking for but have to wait another 4 years till the warranty on my 2012 is up. I can't see any compelling reason to trade up yet since I've only had mine 18 months.
And as far as a S63 vs a regular S550, to me, I would NEVER get a regular S550 now. I don't care how great it is, fast it is, money savings it is, I simply would want something a bit different, a bit more exclusive, and I adore the AMG badging. Once you go AMG, it's hard to go regular again, at least from my point of view.
I don't care how fast it is, they're both fast enough for traffic here in DC. I like the look of the AMG car much more, the interior upgrades, etc.

Well, I hear you about specific wants and needs, as I am that way to a fault. If you like the car, get it. That said, if it were me, I would not even consider an AMG car, as I just don't need or want the power, the roar, the ride, the seats or the image, all of which come at a price way over and above that of a plain, old S550.
Just taking a wild guess here, but what do we think the ratio of sales is of S550's to S63's? Like 50 to 1? If I were in your position, I would do a nationwide search for a CPO silver/black S550, find the right car and get it. If it doesn't have the wheels you want, that's an easy swap. The car would be much more akin to the 2010 you love and I believe you would be happier and have more money in your pocket at the end of the day--but that's just me.
Good luck and please let us know how it all ends up.

On warranty topic: Mercedes standard 1 year CPO is not that vaulable at all. I'd rather take late production year car over earlier one with CPO. you can extend aftermarket or via MB before bumper to bumper expire. Enjoy your new ride!

Your specifics is exactly what I am leasing. New 2016 s550 silver on black 20 amgs rear seat package. Premium sport and driver assistance pkg. warmth and comfort pkg. rims you can switch/swap. I saw a cpo s63 2015 for 77k not too long ago. It was 35k miles not 15k though. When I calked dealership it was sold so they said.

Yes it was a great price
Either the dealership had already sold it or they lied as it may have beena typo and just said it was sold. I only was interested in the s63 because at that price it was a bargain. S550 has more than enough power for me. Normally they are> $90k range for the s63 cpo

The old bait and switch, lol. the 15 S63's are $100k+.
