Steering Assist - Any Software Updates Available for the S550?

I picked up my 2016 S550 in July of 2016 and have not had it in for service at all. The Steering Assist works OK most of the time, but it can't seem to negotiate simple curves very well. Quite often it overshoots the center line, then overshoots the curb line, and eventually gives up.

My question is, does anyone know if there have there been any software or firmware updates in the past 7 months that might improve the performance of the Steering Assist function?

My 2015 does the same thing - I think its baked in from MY 2014 - 2017. At CES a MB rep was suggesting that this issue will be corrected in the 2018 S Class (beyond the 2017 E Class) by better use of GPS mapping and also dealing w/ exit ramps, etc. we'll see. Right now a Volvo S90 is far better than a 2017 S Class or E Class. Odd that MB has fallen behind on this tech.
