I can't see your pic (red X) for some reason. I will tell you that I am a HUGE fan of JLC watches. I own a Reverso sun/moon in rose gold and a Master Reserve De Marche, also in Rose. They are one of the few houses that still make their own movements and IMHO Rolex does not compare to JLC.
I have pared down my collection considerably over the last few years but would not consider selling my JLC's. I also own two Patek's and two Lange's. Most people don't realize that for the price of a Rolex you can buy a much better "watch". Granted, most won't know what the hell it is, but that doesn't bother me at all. Most popular watches are status symbols and more jewelery than anything else. And that's OK. But, once you own something like a JLC or Patek (especially with a crystal back) you won't ever consider a Rolex. To see the workmanship in the case, movement, etc. in a fine timepiece is amazing, and never gets old.
You can find places to discount. BTW, why don't you look at a leather strap? Can still be worn with Jeans/T-shirt. A lot of people think leather is to formal. I wear all my watches with any attire.

two reasons... I have never liked the look of leather straps, I prefer the much clunkier and solid feeling of a metal bracelet. And I feel like Im getting cheated when I buy a watch and all I get is a leather strap.
I guess its still thinking of it as a "watch" instead of a piece of craftsmanship and or Art... I think some of the pricier watches(not blinged out) are only available with leather as it allows the emphasis to be placed on the time piece...
what kinda of discount can I expect to get? Its not my coin Im spending, its my rents... This is a College graduation gift
Iam in the process of setting up a watch and jewelry business. Although I wont be dealing in these lines of watches, I have friends in the business that deal with JLC and Rolex. If I can be of assistance please feel free to email me, and I can point you in their direction.
