Okie, Im tired of the E63 vs. E55 discussion... Can we all get along? :-) Here're some pictures of my new DD. What's wrong with "cars like that"?

1. its a lexus
2. ugly
3. Mirrors are bigger than the ones on a G class
4. did it mention its a lexus
5. toyota will use the body in a few months so you wont be able to tell the difference between a lexus version and a toyota, just look at the new camry.

Overall its a good car but personally when I went looking at one and walked next door to the BMW dealer I just liked the 3 series better. You didnt get all the gadgets that the lexus has but the BMW has a better cabin layout and feel to me. I know not everyone will agree with me but its my opinion and I am entitled to have an opinion, I dont mean to sound rude to owners of the car you bought it for your own reasons and I have my own criteria for a car also.

Thanks for elaborating. I think your reasons of why you dislike the car are valid except 1 & 4. There is nothing wrong with Lexus. If only MB could produce a car with Lexus reliability. The only car in their lineup that has any issues is the RX according to a few friends of mine who work for Lexus.

I thought the IS looked better than the E90 and many others would agree (just an opinion) but now that the 335i is on the market.....

It's all personal preference here... I wish I held off for another week to pull the trigger but it's too late, I could have gotten the BMW 335i instead but... I bought the IS350 due to Lexus's RELIABILITY reputation, I still have the 01 GS430 but gave it to my little sister about 3 months ago and NEVER had any issue with it (knock on wood). The IS350 is a FUN car for daily driving with al the bells and whistles.

Yes, for 07, they actually renamed the sport package to X-Package.

This is one of the main reasons I don't like Lexus.

Point of information
- The IS300 when introduced as a Lexus never appeared as a Toyota in NA.
I don't think the IS250/350/500 will either.

Nor did the LS400, or 430 or GS300/400 or GS350/450 or the RX300 or RX330/400.

Actually... the only ones that I can remember that are interchangable are the ES (to an extent) and the LX (God I love that truck).

Maybe not in NA, but it was badged as a Toyota Altezza in other parts of the world.

Of course, now they are using the "Lexus" name so they won't be the same exact car. But the new IS350 still looks an awful lot like the new Camry to me.
