About 6 months ago, through various database corruptions, archiving, etc., a former thread that had many pages here in Off-Topic was the Mercedes Benz World Gun Owners' Club thread.

That club had scores of members. Fortunately, however, I have maintained a paper membership roster since the inception in 2005. The first couple of dozen members I do not have the date of their membership.

Membership numbers were granted in the order that members requested membership- with one exception, #69, which was issued soon after the club's beginning by a special request from Morelli. We have since passed number 69 and the newest member is # 73, Belt Fed Bob as of 4/22/09.

As I recall, membership was granted after two conditions: first being a PM to me requesting membership. Second was a posting of photos showing your collection, a specimen, or some other indicator of actual gun ownership.

This post is an attempt to jump-start that old beloved thread.

I've posted many times on topics and issues regarding firearms. However, it escapes me the purpose of being a member of this gun club within a car forum? It appears that you are the defacto founder, would you define the club's charter and reason for its being? We've had many meaningful (or not) discussions without being a card holding club member.

Well when I saw ScottW's Ruger 357 Security Six in ss, I just had to get my trusty Speed Six out and post it up. Here are a few others,
