The funniest thing is, he comes in with the intent to contribute to a thoughtful, insightful thread, yet his claims of intellectual superiority have come under such a barrage that now the thread has devolved into his defense of all his prior statements and claims, which now actually negates any positive contributions to the topic and has now troll-like centered on him personally, which is a waste of his "superior intellect," because now we are deprived of what progress we could have made discussing the original topic.

The only reason I don't say I'm fully "Liberal" is because I'm really not, actually, many of my natural characteristics are very "conservative" by the very definition of the word. Much of me is liberal by definition too, but I wouldn't really say I'm more one way or the other, it depends on what issues we're talking about.

I don't think Liberal is seen as much of a dirty word, and if it is, it's because of the endless array of smears its given by the Conservatives who can't stop tossing it around.

I was going to point that out too. Executive MBA programs are usually for those elitist @ss-kissers at work that a big company sponsors...or at least it was when I worked at a Big 4 accounting firm.

To get back on topic...if there is one...I find some of the signs/slogans paraded by the 'teabaggers' idiotic and embarrassing. If the GOP needs this kind of discourse to fan the flames then we'll stay mired in the current doom and gloom political atmosphere. Elections won on "what's wrong with the other side" platforms end up like what we have today.

Are you assuming that I've never had a bunch of blow-hards try to wolfpack me before? You're right -- if people didn't choose to keep asking questions about me, then they'd be able to post about the insightful topic of Teabaggers with poorly thought-out signs. Of course, I'm sure you're willing to distribute blame to those actually asking the questions, aren't you? I'll agree that schools, (and more often parents), have grown softer on children as of late, but I fail to see the correlation between that and the thread at-hand. However, I would like to know how you feel about, say, a friendly $50 wager? I have some ideas for a head-to-head challenge if you're game.

It's a matter of linguistics, context and diction. "Conservative" and "Liberal" in and of themselves are simply ends of a spectrum, and loosely defined ones at that. Once someone uses either word as a pejorative, the context changes.

Funny, the schools, the government and the banks all consider EMBA students to be full-time. Yes, every other weekend, from morning through evening, with five courses per module, with real tests, real projects and real research.

Part of the lefts whining is the fact that the tea baggers represent a very significant political change. Organization and protest, a staple domain of the left is now used by the right....and to great effect.
