Did I not hear the owner saying that is first Lamborghini spyder did the same thing......nice, imagine owning one of many lambos and living with the paranoia of the car iginiting and burning, imagine if it was in the garage at home.

Unfortunately, Italian exotics are notorious for catching on fire.
Ferrari had a similar problem with the 458 and F430. The adhesive used to attach the heat shield in the engine bay used to catch on fire because of the extreme heat. This is an issue in the 458 The 2005-2007 soft top F430's had a major fire issue as well. Engine heat used to cause hairline fracture in the hydraulic hose and hydraulic fluid used to leak on top of the engine causing a fire. Around 2000 F430's were recalled for this issue.

soooo upsetting ! 400k worth of car up in flames, its no laughing matter .. these guys are a bunch of idiots tbh .. even if you dont own the car .. its like laughing at someone's beautiful home burning and laughing at the fact that its not yours ... just my .02

I have often read about burning gallardos and murcielagos, but I thought they have found the problem. Seems like they haven't ...

According to the video, the guy, who was on a test drive, owned a previous Lambo that caught on fire as well... Not sure about what model, but he says it was a roadster... And he replaced it with a Spyder... Makes me kind of glad I didn't win the bid on the one on eBay... Who knows, that could have been me!

I finally watched this video and realized that this was right up the street from my house.
Back when I volunteered with the Orange County Fire Authority, I worked at Station 57 (The engine farthest back) and trained, often, at Station 22 (the tiller truck next to the Lamborghini). The small frontage road that the T22 is parked on is where I cut through to get home, via car and bike. Funny part is, I never saw anything about this in the local paper.
