Clear side markers and police

In WA State are clear side markers likely to be an issue with cops? I'm in Bellevue, land of the speeding ticket for doing 36 in a 35.
My reading of the RCW indicates that as long one has an orange bulb inside it should be ok...

Thats how every state Ive lived in does it. (amber bulbs=ok)

i agree. with both motorcycles and cars, as long as the FUNCTION of the light
is to code (amber) their OFF color is irrelevant.

Been driving with clear bulbs in my sider markers for a couple of years now. No issues. Driven by plenty of popo since. I'll change to amber bulbs when the OEM ones tank.

Oh, and I'd make sure to go no more the 34 in that 35 zone too...

I think my racey car is offset by the bright pink child booster seats in the back
