CLK320 - Direct Port Nitrous and Intake / TB upgrades? MB gurus wanted
First off I have a lot of experience with nitrous and engine swaps...but not a lot of experience with MBs post 1991.
I have a '99 CLK320 with 94,000 miles. I recently started looking into a 75-150 direct port nitrous kit. I am considering buying a different upper intake to drill and tape. I also read somewhere on this forum that '00s and later had bigger throttle bodies / injectors / and a different ECU.
Can I take the later intake / throttle body / injectors and install it on my '99 for a performance upgrade without switching ECUs? If no...is it difficult to switch to the later ECU style? What does it entail? Do crossfires have the larger TB/intakes? How much nitrous is "Safe" on a 3.2L?
If it takes too much to explain by typing, pm me and I will call you. Thanks-Kent.

I would contact TVT DESIGN, as they have a great deal of experience with the 3.2l motors.
We at LET Motorsports are able to do the requisite tuning, should you be interested.

430 TB
I installed the 74mm throttle body from a '99 430 on my 320. The extra cfm really helps the 320. Great mod for $115 shipped off of the 'Bay.

i heard that if u take the tb,maf sensor, injectors and if im not mistaking also the fuel pump from a 430 or 55 u can easily put a 50 shot no prob after tuning the ecu.idk exactly whats the most u can push.im still try n to find out more info about what exactly is needed also ,but no nos for me just alittle more hp.they say we will go from our stock 215hp to 265hp.

238 hk ECU tuneup only
Only thing I done to mine besides a standard tuneup make sure all other is in order go get a ECU tuneup. = 238 Hk which os very note able at high speed. I RUN the dials out no problem but was told was in much better condition than usual. Is a 2001 model.
Else do what u need to do before the ECU tune-up will get u best results
