The weather is already getting too warm I know but it's only going to get worse. This is our last chance to race in tolerable weather until well into the fall. Let's make the most of it!

Come-on folks, a little 1/4 mile drag racing isn't gonna hurt your car. Any body here old enough to remember the time honored practice of our fathers called "Blowing the carbon out"? Or how about the "Italian Tune-up". There are some Pontiac G8s and some Hemi Chargers out there that need to be spanked! Regards, Eric

This is my last time too until the weather cools back down. I wasn't even going to go to this one but my turbo Volvo buddies talked me into it. Plus I have a buddy who wants to bring his 500E out.

Bump this for the next street legal drags day: Sat., Jan., 09, 2010.

The stupid track just posted their 2010 calender on Monday the 28th of Dec. This late posting of the next street legal date will work to our advantage because the turnout will be low as a result. We have to go to this for three reasons: 1) The next track day for us isn't until April! http://www.autoclubspeedway.com/Tick...of-Events.aspx , 2) Cool weather = better E/Ts, 3) Short notices like this always hurts the turnout--- the place will be ours! Lots of runs!

Another Street legal day has been added at A.C.D.!
They were talking January 9th on the loudspeaker at the track that they've added another street legal day! February 28! Please note: this one is on a Sunday. They haven't done a Sunday street legal day in over a year. Maybe a few more of us can come this time since we have a little more time to plan for it. Since this one still falls under the category of a relatively last minute add on, I expect it will still be a relatively low turn out day as was the case on Jan. 9. And even if the turnout is a little greater than it was that day, it's alright because we'll have a little more time between runs for engine cool down! I could have used that last time! Let's hope a cold front blows through the day before!

The last time I checked the track's website calender, the new date still wasn't showing. This is not the first time this has happened but I don't care to alert them cause I like a low turnout!

Rivcal4life, Iregretnothing, a few of our Volvo friends, and myself are planning on going to this one. Who else?
