PowerChip or Eurocharged?

Hi guys,
Doing a little extra research.
Looking to do an ECU on an S500.
An acquaintance of mine owns a shop and is offering to do a PowerChip for $600
The problem is that i've read many negative stories about PowerChips including where there is absolutely no gains.
Eurocharged is also in my area and i think they are about $800 bucks. Now i can't find any info on their work for N/A engines, but on their website they show tunes for C320 and C55, i'm assuming S500 M113 would not be a problem.
Would anyone make a suggestion or feedback of any kind?

Thanks

Nice.... This shows what kind of man you are. Hiding behind a forum screen name. :-)

I get calls every day from various customers that HATE how people like you spread lies about us. You know what? We end up earning their business!

Real Talk !!!!! Eurocharged all the way! When you call power chips you get some random person when you call eurocharged you get the actual Tuner. Did a tune through Jerry and have nothing but nice things to say w 535hp and 560 tq at the wheels. Screw the haters this is real life time results on a daily driven e55!

I'm in socal and went straight to Powerchip myself and can vouch for great results on my clk 500. The guys there were great and showed and discussed with me everything they did. Really nice and knowledgable. There have been quite a few of us that have gotten our tunes from them and everyone has been extremely happy. If you want any other references for testimonials let me know and I'll shoot you some sn of other guys.

Luckily for us all we have a few choices of great tuners out there and everyone is entitled to their own opinion as am I! I've dealt with power chips on many occasions my self, and they do good work don't get me wrong, when you are just trying to add a little hair to your chest, but when you are really want to unleash all of your cars potentials I definitely stay behind my decision of getting a tune from Jerry!!! Also I've haven't heard of powerchips offering a tcu tune with their software another reason for my choice.

I had my 2012 E Class Coupe ECU done with Jerry at Eurocharged about 3-4 months ago and absolutely pleased with the performance upgrade.

2001 mercedes e320 wagon
to chip or not to chip.

I want to find out what I could do reasonably to get some ponies from my 01 e320 wagon, lowered, exhaust etc, such as chip or tune. I am on the central coast of cali- no tuners or euro savy pepes at all, so give a guy a hand and point me in the right direction of products to buy or not to buy. Thanks, Shawn
