SLK55 Kleemann supercharger query
I am thinking of adding the Kleemann supercharger kit to my SLK55. Has anyone done this? If so, I would appreciate your comments. How do you like the performance? Any problems? Would you do it again?

Still having problems in Houston with 2005 SLK AMG 55 with Klee Scharger. Anyone know a super mechanic shop in the Houston area that might solve my problems ?

2005 slk amg 5.5
Installed Jan 2012. Problems 4/2013. 90% fixed now. Still will not do a cold start. Must warm it up by 10 min drive before it runs smoothly. Up to $7000 in fixes (which have helped but not cured the problem).

iNSTALLATION WAS IN JAN 2012 & WAS ABOUT $12 000 WITH ALL PARTS AND LABOR. I AM NOT 100% CERTAIN THAT MOTORWERKS IN HOUSTON CAUSED THE PROBLEMS WHICH AROSE 16 MONTHS LATER.
$7000 WAS FROM A MERCEDES DEALER AND A EUROCARE SHOP WHO ATTEMPTED TO GET THE "CHECK ENGINE" LIGHT TO GO OFF AND MAKE THE ENGINE RUN SMOOTHLY. EUROCARE DID THE MOST GOOD BUT COULD NOT FIX THE COLD START. CORY AT KLEEMANN WAS VERY HELPFUL BUT WE NEVER SOLVED THE COLD START; IT NOW RUNS SMOOTHLY AFTER 20 MINS OF DRIVING AFTER THE COLD START BUT THE "CHECK ENGINE" LIGHT STILL NEVER GOES OFF (UNLESS TEMPORARILY RESET BY A TECHNICIAN). BRUCE
