Suggestions to further tune my M113 turbo. Cams/pistons?
Hey guys. I'm looking for further ways to tune my e55 m113.980 engine.
Basically its stock internals, arp headbolts, headers to 71mm turbo. Running ethanol e85.
I'm thinking about replacing the stock pistons with the lower compression pistons from the supercharged engine. Opinions?
Way cheaper than getting sleeves and forged pistons and should be able to take more boost.
Are the cams from that engine anything to aim for as well? Or should I try to find aftermarket cams?
Any more suggestions?

However I do want pistons from the m113k to lower the compression ratio. 10.5:1 is alot to put boost on, even if the ethanol is way better in that point of view.
With googles help I managed to find an answer to the camshaft question though. I won't change cams in a while.
I do have pictures in my phone, I'll try to get the here somehow, as soon as possible :-)

Would you like to go with dished or flat top pistons? You can also CNC, or procession machine the edges of the pistons to eliminate "hot spots" when the compression rises. With the Camshaft, are you looking to get full power off og forced induction, or would you like a 50/50 setup where you can get power from the boost, and still keep it mild for street driving. All depends so we can determine the degree lobe duration, and lift.
