2007 C230 Inspection
I have my engine light on and came to find out there was 2 code issues(Oxygen Sensor and CAM Sensor). The mechanics then connected my car to a deeper high tech machine which told them that it was something worse deep in the engine.
The told me that if they repaired the Oxygen Sensor and CAM Sensor, there surely was not any guarantee that the issue would be repaired.
I tried bypassing this for the moment. A guy at auto place cleared the code, but when I arrived at the inspection place they told me to turn off the car. When they turned it back on to drive it in, the engine light came back on, in which it failed inspection.
I was told that I can unhook the + battery side for 10 minutes and it would work to pass inspection.
MY QUESTION
Can anyone give me any suggestions on both the code issue and a good way to pass this for the moment in order to bypass inspection?
