Need serious help amg steeringwheel option

Need serious help amg steeringwheel option
Hallo
I made a big f.... Mistake ween i orded my new car E class 4matic s212
It has all options(extras amg package, distronic package etc etc)in it but i forgot the wooden steeringwheel
For the moment i got the AMG code 950 steeringwheel code 277
And i asked to buy a aftermarket one at my
Dealer no problemo partno:A2314601003(its amg this one, only differance its halfwood, same shape everything same)
But i asked about if my airbagmodule will fitt in the new steeringwheel
And they cant answer it as ween they tap the artnr in computer it comes up 7 other airbagmodules, incl that i have in the car
Then i got this stupid answer if you buy a
New airbagmodul if youres does not fit ,you cant change it or get a refund
And the only way to test it is to mount the old one and see if my car electronic system will accept The new steeringwheel. Is there any other way to check this?
I will be very greatful if any one can help out

Old steering

My airbag modul
A1728601602
And new steering
A2314601003
Both steering are amg,flat at bottom
Same shape same buttoms etc etc differance one all leather one half wood
