Unhappy 80mm MB throttle body 2751410625 CL600

Current situation: Installed 80mm MB throttle body 2751410625 (was told all MB tb's are plug and play.. apparently not)

Reset TB by Clearing all ecu codes, key positioned off, unplug throttle body connector from the connector with the green tape, turn key to on (not running)
for 20 seconds, then turned key position to ACC, plugged TB connector back into the connection with the green tape, turn the key to on (hearing TB clicking, stops after few seconds) let it stay for 3-5 minutes... THEN

(Before Re-pinning) Started vehicle getting erratic idle, no throttle response, checked scanner got code P0638 current: Throttle actuator control range/performance bank 1 P03638 pending Throttle actuator control range/performance bank 1.

Reset TB by Clearing all ecu codes, key positioned off, unplug throttle body connector from the connector with the green tape, turn key to on (not running)

(After Re-pinning) Started vehicle smooth(er) idle, no throttle response when pressing accelerator but after pressing accelerator starts erratic idle.

Throws the same codes P03638

The pinning directions I used as follows:

It depends on which TB you have. There are a few different 80MM TB's.

Your cl55 wiring diagram confirms it is like the E55 in the chart I posted, #1 & #4 are motor +/-, and #5 & #6 are potentiometer output.

However the cl600 wiring diagram indicates the motor + is on #6 and motor - is on #1 so it looks like you will have to switch #1 & #6 to get the motor to work correctly. This is only true if your cl600 TB opens opposite to the one on your cl55. Check this first. Get the motor opening the TB correctly first. If this is true you may also have to switch #2 & #3 with #4 to get the output and inputs corrected.

The main reason for the switch is because the + / - and potentiometer output was different from the 74MM to 80MM TB.

I have done all of the above steps/configurations, Anything missing besides thinking the TB is BAD, or just will not work for this application?
