Anyone have the power steering leak?
Wife's 06 R350 is puking it's steering fluid. It's difficult to see where the leak is but researching the other forums that have the 350 motor seem to indicate either the reservoir and/or the reservoir gasket. I went ahead and ordered both parts from Amazon for $51. I figure I'll get a better view after taking the tank off. It's not coming from the front (shaft seal) so hopefully this is it. The other culprit could be the low pressure return hose clamp.
My dealer didn't have the replacement tank because it was superseded with a new part number ($52.25) which also required replacing the pump (a $656 part!!).

Got the parts last yesterday (2-days, that's with Amazon's free shipping). Took a little under an hour to replace the tank. Most of the time was figuring out and struggling with how to remove and replace the tank-to-pump clip. The old tank looks fine, no cracks but, for the price of a tank of gas, I don't regret replacing it.
FWIW, an unscrupulous dealer could have easily told my wife that the tank was cracked. And because the old tank is obsolete (even though Amazon.com stocks 'em) they would also require a new pump. This fix could have easily cost over $1000. My cost was $51 and couple hours of my time.
