W251 Aerial amplifier

Hi, I am having trouble with the radio function of the command. It only receives radio stations which are very close or very strong signals and even then only briefly before going again. From this I am assuming the command unit is probably ok and more inclined towards the aerial amplifier. Has anyone any idea where it is located and how to remove please. Many thanks.
