Also interested as I have the same problem, but it's the driver side for me. My 2006 R350 has the full airmatic system.

Based on my experience (R500 2006 Airmatic) it is either height sensor malfunction (good news, cheap), or problem with the air shock (bad news, expensive). Unless you're good at DYI, you have to visit your dealer/indy to find out the reason.

Hope it helps :-)

I wasn't so lucky. It's an intermittent problem. One day fine next the passenger side fully extends the air bag.

Same problem here

I have an R500 without Airmatic and the rear drive side sags until the tire is almost touching the wheel well, while the rear passenger side is too high. It seems to be compensating for the sagging driver side. When you drive the car for a few minutes the driver side raises and passenger side lowers back to even. After driving sometimes it stays level and other times the driver side sags again. Oddly enough, it seems more pronounced after the tire pressure sensor goes off (I had a couple of nails in a tire). From all the reading I've one it appears to be either the ride height sensor, air bag or valve block. My regular mechanic fixed the tire and noted everything looked fine with the suspension, there were no leaks and the air bags seemed fine. He believes it's a sensor. I'll find out when it goes to the dealer on Thursday. I can post the diagnosis and repair estimate if anyone is interested (though I won't be having the dealer perform the repair. I get the parts from the U.S. at 25% of the price they charge us in Canada).

I'm not aware of a fuse in the back for the air suspension, but who knows. Either way, his issue is not likely your issue.

Is it sitting on the stops on one side? then pumps up to normal when you start it? That is likely leaking airspring. How many miles on the vehicle?

E55AMG
Hi guys, I am owner of an E55AMG'05. My car has an airmatic problem. The diagnosis gives these fault codes (5132-left side airmatic sensor/5142-right side airmatic sensor/5152-rear airmatic sensor)
Airmatic kompressor works fine up and down.
The problem is that car's left side is 12mm down then right side or opposite! (right side is 12mm upper then left side)
While we connect the car to diagnosis,we made felt and right at same balance but whenever disconnect from diagnosis and try to up or down the airmatic, the problem occurs again.
I think a wire contact to chasis, also deaits of the fault code says the same.
If somebody had the same problem, then help me where to start?
Thanks. I am sorry about my english, hope you understand well.
Note: sensors are fine, sockets are fine.
