Heard something fall when shut the door, then tried to open it and nothing. The handle has no tension at all. Took the interior door panel off to try to get to the problem. Got it down to the metal part but can't see the back side of exterior door handle mechanism. Unscrewed all the screws but the metal piece won't come out because of a rivet that holds the window mechanism in place. Did reach in found the piece I heard fall that is broken. Can this be fixed by just ordering a new exterior door handle?? And how do I remove the exterior door handle?

And unfortunately, both my rear doors have decided to give out on me. But one side I have not heard the clunk I heard on the other side.
