Lowering 2008 R... What do I need?
Hi everyone! New here, as this is my first MB. Owned lots of VW's and Audis in the past though
I'm looking to lower my R, and am wondering what I will need. I understand I will need springs for the front and links for the back as mine is not fully airmatic. Will I need to replace the shocks with high performance shocks, as this is what my husband and I have done in the past with our audis, or is it safe to run lower suspension on stock shocks? If the shocks should be replaced can anyone recommend a replacement set?
Thanks in advance for any guidance you can give!

Some info here and there are lots of threads on this topic.
I did not change out shocks and I have not come across anything that indicate it is absolutely necessary. Ideally, thought, it is better to find new shocks... may improvement comfort/feel
