R350 w/ 150k miles - balance shaft risk?

I'm looking at a 2007 R350 with ~150k miles. One owner car, 100% dealer serviced, great price.

The engine serial # falls within the range plagued by balance shaft sprocket issues. This car has not had any trouble so far.

It seems like the reported issues with the M272 on this forum all occurred below 100k miles.

At 150k miles without incident, can I be confident this car is unaffected? Anyone experienced or know of a late failure?

Are you able to check with the Mercedes dealership on the service history of this R350? If it is me, if the balance shaft had not being replaced yet, I will look for another one. The risk is high and cost of the balance shaft is even higher....
