Visit Workshop Battery

White battery symbol (not Red) "Visit Workshop", is still appearing on the dash after I installed brand new main and the auxillary batteries.

Is there a way for me to reset this?

A little background:
I visited the Stealership for an oil change and they wanted $160 just to diagnose the problem, but I declined at the moment. They went through their routine anyways, you know, courtesy inspection. At the end of the visit, I saw on the report stating "battery test failed." What?! Two brand new batteries and they failed? I don't get it.

Don't know how to reset but I believe the "white battery symbol" refers to the auxillary battery.

A pure guess and if the auxillary battery wasn't charged before being put in, the car may detect low voltage and flow an error. May be wait a bit and see will the message go away.

Yes, the white symbol is for the aux battery system. Perhaps the incorrect battery went in? Maybe the battery sat on the shelf too long? In other industries (home alarm systems for example) those 12V batteries only last a couple years at best (same exact battery specification). They are not built to a very high or lasting standard as a starting battery.
