Check the 2 40 amp fuses in the fuse box - passenger side of the engine compartment. You can't really look into the fuse to see if its burnt... Pull it and check with a VOM.
1 is for the compressor, the other is for the system.
If they are fine, replace the green relay (2nd from the left to right). $20 from the stealer.
If the compressor is not coming on assess if the compressor is good. The assessment would be checking to see if you are getting power to the compressor. There is a connector to the motor. I've not done it, but I would expect you could check voltage there. If there is power the compressor is bad.
Last suspect would be the height sensors but since you are getting the height warning, I really doubt it. The fuse, relay and compressor are you likely targets. If the compressor is bad, MB will TELL you to replace the relay so the order of stuff I gave you is logical.

My mechanic change the suspension compressor. Its on the right front side of the tire.My old compressor was aterated by humidity and rust start to build up. After i change it,hurray everything is good.
