Spite? Parking light? My old lights where US version and the new are euro version. Dont know if it is difference.

Well light bar and brake light are using same wire turn on parking light it gets voltage and step on brake gets more voltage i think

Yes that is why they are on the same Cable.

HERE IS A QUICK, SIMPLE AND CHEAP SOLUTION for the gap on the facelift taillights. And that is if you can stand to have the chrome frame. I dont like them but maybe I can live with it to get this quick fix. All you need is the chrome frame and high gloss reflex tejp. The tejp is sturdy and even E-marked and aproved as a reflex. But if you want it more stabile you can Always add som plastic plate behind it. And since the new taillights misses this reflex it also adds that option to it. And when it comes to the frame you can Always color it in any color or smoke it and so on if you dont like chrome.





It might not show in the bad pics but it REALY looks OEM...Like it should be like tat and follows the lines of the light design.


And I am only holding it in Place here. It is not attached.

chris that does look awesome and is a great easy solution. actually you could probably do the extension with a piece or rigid plastic reflector material, heat and curve then trim and attach to the tailight, then you won't even need the chrome ring

I ofcourse though of that as well but I think it is hard to trim a hard piece edges to look good and not look cut and do a good fitment against the taillight. And there is no problem to do this one ridgid. It is a tejp and it can be attaced to any har piece of your liking.

A Little update for those few who cares.

Bought a set of R63 AMG calipers and rotors..



Looked like this when I got them...



Took them appart and startded to paint them.



As you know I love the 2-tone look on things. I Think it looks more exclusive..





all 4 finnished.



Also added som paint in the centre of the rotors.

Hey chris the swede,

I am not trying to high jack the thread but do you kjow the name, part number or place to get the metal plates in the cargo area near the lift gate? Mine an beat up and coming off. One may be fixable but the other isnt.
