You can get your owners manual here:
http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/servic...owners_manuals

normally it uses 8-9L of oil, and often needs 1-2 liters fillup between changes
You can get oil and air filters and all normal maintenance items from most on line car parts dealers. Nothing really special! Oil filters are from MAN or Hengst.
Only use MB 229.51 compliant oil (or the newer 229.52) low sulfur oil to protect your exhaust system and sensors Such as:
Mobil 1 ESP Formula M 5W-40*1 (Diesel only)
Valvoline SynPower MST 5W-30*1 (Diesel only)
ELF Solaris LSX 5W-30*1 (Diesel only)

For brake fluid you need MB or Mobil 1 DOT 4 Plus low viscosity

Feel free to search the forums. Most maintenance items are covered well.

Enjoy the Ride!
