Change parking light bulbs to LED
Hi, forum!
I've bought LED bulbs to match my Xenon lights as best as possible on my '06 R350 but I've run into problems.
I've bought bulbs in 2 batches (different kinds) and both behave the same, blinks about 3 times when I lit up the lights and then it just turns black (off). When I install the old standard wedge bulb it lights up without any problems.
The last batch I bought were supposed to be Canbus compatible bulbs.
Anybody who have done this and have some ideas?
I would also like to change most other bulbs in the future like the ones under the side mirrors, the interior floor and the back registration plate bulbs.
TIA!

AZN optics seems to have better than average quality bulbs. I changed all bulbs to leds with the exception of the outside mirrors and the map reading lights on the rear view mirror. Try to get the 39mm festoon base bulbs (door lights etc)as they fit better in the " fixtures" which can be tweeked with needle nose pliers . The floor/footwell lights were VERY bright after i put the leds in so i layered blue painters tape over the lens to knock out the glare. Looks very nice

I have replaced daytime running lights with LEDs on my R350 .
You need ballast resistors to be added or led will blink and or even if not, your dashboard will display failed bulbs message.
Search ebay for something like "LED LOAD RESISTOR W5W" pay attention, that it should be about 5W not less.
Most of them are easy to clip on the existing wires just parallel to the bulb.

Get your LCD from AZN optics. You can find him/vendor from this forum. I do not have my R-class anymore but I was able to use them for four years without any flicking or burnt out. Couple bucks more expensive but you can sure those will work.
