Nice work AR350 My Kensun kit made me have to use one of those 3rd party open clips and oMG it was painful...
I do know what the inside of my headlight housing and the H7 housing looks like now though, all by touch
I am thinking I should have gone 6k to better match my drl (yet another set I had to try but these ones are a keeper) but I can't be bothered to get back into the housing atm...
Btw, did you mount the ballast outside or inside the housing? I have everything (including cancellers) inside and I've been checking the plastics quite often and everything holding up perfect.

55w Kensun Kit
JonMac - I installed the Kensun Kit also, for low beam. I put the ballast and warning signal outside of the housing and zipped tied at this time. I re-used the OEM bulb retaining clip by cutting one corner and taping it to the H7 bulb holder. Working good, so far.

Cheers I ended up buying aftermarket clips because I wanted to keep the originals intact but those clips I had to modify (butcher) to get them to lock in properly! But it's all working well now for the past couple of weeks

I had installed the ballast and ignitor inside the housing and no problem with the heat issue.
